About this project
Engineered a high-performance headless architecture for Chihiro Sushi & Bar, decoupling a traditional WordPress backend to power an interactive, lightning-fast frontend. The platform leverages WordPress to empower the client with intuitive content management for basic site assets, while a custom PHP backend processes complex core logic. The user-facing storefront was built from the ground up using React and Tailwind CSS to ensure fluid animations, responsive layouts, and a modern dining discovery experience.
To bridge the headless ecosystems seamlessly, I developed custom WordPress plugins that established secure, high-throughput communication between standard WP infrastructure and proprietary backend code. Additionally, I authored custom WordPress templates to handle dynamic data injection, ensuring that visual assets, extensive menu data, and structural layouts remain fully modular, highly scalable, and optimized for local SEO.
